You Had Me

 

 

 

 

This tutorial was written for those that have knowledge of PSP.

 

Tutorial written with PSP X2 but should work in any version of PSP

 

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Tube and close up of Choice

I used the artwork of Ismael Rac

You must purchase a license to use his work.

Pay to use Scrap Kit: Bleeding Love

Scrap kit by: Diane @ Candys Treats

Tag Template #325 by: Missy @ Divine Intentions

 

Plugins Used all are optional:

Texturizer

Xenofex 2: Constellation

Xero: Fritillary

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow

 

Font of Choice

I used:

KampFriendship Plain

 

Lest Get Started:

 

Open the template

 

Shift+D to duplicate image

Close the original

 

Delete the copyright layer

 

Image>Canvas Size

With these settings

 

 

Open the background layer

Flood fill the top white too

 

Close off all the layers except for the rectangle

We are going to work our way up

 

Effects>Plugins>Texture>Texturizer

With these settings:

 

Open Circle 1 Layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Open ct-BleedingLovePaper27

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

From the kit open frame9

Copy and paste as a new layer

Image>resize

With these settings:

 

 

Image>Flip

Move it to where it is over Circle 1 layer

Should look something like this:

 

Select the frame layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

Selections>Modify>Expand

With these settings:

 

New Raster layer

Flood fill White

Effects>3D Effects> Drop Shadow

With these settings

 

Move the white circle below the red paper layer

 

Delete the original circle1 layer

 

 

Open your close up of your tube

Copy and paste as a new layer

Move the tube layer between the frame and red paper layer

Duplicate your tube layer close one off

 

Image>Mirror

Position where you would like it to show in the frame

Select the frame layer

Take your magic wand tool with these settings:

 

 

Selections>Expand

With these settings:

 

Select your tube layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

On the layer pallet change the opacity to 59

And to Luminace (L)

 

 

Open up your other tube

Position where you would like it to show in the frame

Select the frame layer

Take your magic wand tool with these settings:

 

 

Selections>Expand

With these settings:

 

Select your tube layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

On the layer pallet change the opacity to 59

And to Luminace (L)

 

 

You tag should look something like this now

 

 

Open CT-BleedingLovePlain1 frame

Copy and paste as a new layer

 Move it over the rectangle

 

Take the pick tool and resize it so it fits over the rectangle area

 

Select the inside of the frame with the magic wand tool

With these settings:

 

 

Now find the frame layer and hit delete on your keyboard

Do the same on the paper layer & white circle layer

 

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000>Gradient Glow

With these settings:

 

 

Should look something like this

Open the circle2 layer

 

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

New Raster layer

Flood Fill with: #620608

Selections>None

 

Effects>Plugins>Xero>Fritillary

With these settings

 

 

 

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000>Gradient Glow

With these settings:

 

 

Should look something like this

 

Select the circle2 layer again

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

New Raster layer

Flood Fill white

 

Effects>Plugins>Alien Skin Xenofex 2>Constellation

With these settings

Your tag should look something like this

 

 

Delete the sm rectangle1, tiny circle1&2  layers (we don’t need them)

 

Open Raster 1 layer

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000>Gradient Glow

With these settings:

 

 

Open the frame background layer

 

Move it to in between your two circles

 

Open frame1 layer

 

Move it so that it is on top of the background

Move the layers below the white circle layer

 

Select the background layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

New Raster layer

Flood Fill black

Selections>None

 

Delete the original background layer

 

Copy and paste a close up of your tube in between

The frame and background layer

Position where you would like it to show in the frame

Select the frame layer

Take your magic wand tool with these settings:

 

 

Selections>Expand

With these settings:

 

Select your tube layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

Make the tube layer luminance (L)

On the layer pallet

 

Select the frame layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

New Raster layer

Flood Fill black

Selections>None

 

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow

With these settings

You should have something like this

 

 

Open the word art layer

 

Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize

With these settings

 

Open your tube layer and paste like mine

 

 

Open the thin rectangle layer

Open ct-ribbonvelvet from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Line up the middle of the ribbon with the rectangle layer

Select the thin rectangle layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

Click on the ribbon layer

Selections>Invert

Hit delete on your keyboard

 

Open ct-DiamondLine from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

Position on the middle of the ribbon

Hit delete on your keyboard

(to get rid of extra diamonds)

Selections>None

 

 

Delete the thin rectangle layer

 

 

Select the background layer

 

Open ct-BleedingLoveglitterSpill

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Position like mine

 

Select the main tube layer

 

Open CT-HEARTline

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Image>Free Rotate

With these settings

 

Image>Resize

With these settings

 

 

Image>Free Rotate

With these settings

 

 

Position on the right side of your tube

 

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow

 

 

Your tag should look something like this

 

 

Add your copyright and text!

 

Close off the bottom white background layer

 

Save as a .png
